Raise your hand if you got a new dslr for Christmas! Raise your hand if you already had a dslr and just haven’t been happy with the shots you’ve been getting in auto. Raise your hand if you want to take your images from “meh” to “woah!”
I’m currently scheduling a super fun Mom’s Day Out class to learn how to take your dslr OUT of auto. You will learn about all the different functions and settings that I use to get great straight out of camera shots. You’ll go from underexposed and blurry, to bright and in focus.
The two above images were taken within seconds of each other. One, I let the camera choose the settings, in auto. The other, I chose the settings in manual. These are both strictly straight out of the camera with no other adjustments.
Okay, so what does this class offer?
This class is for BEGINNERS. We will learn the basics of the exposure triangle. I will include references to other materials that could be beneficial to your learning. This class is for people who only use their camera in auto, or at least for the majority of the time.
We will have snacks and drinks as well as a model (my daughter, lol) to practice on after our class. The class is 2 hours long.
What does this class not include?
This class will NOT include any lessons on editing, posing, or marketing. If you are interested in one on one lessons with me regarding those subjects, contact me.
Okay, so I’m interested. I want all the details!
Contact me today to schedule your spot for this fun awesome class! Payment is due in full at booking.

Oh I LOVE Holiday sessions! This gorgeous family is one of my families that came out for my holiday minis and I was so glad to have met them. What a gorgeous little family, am I right?
We decided to kind of combine family photos as well as a few individual of their sweet new addition. I think it was the perfect combination!
