Ponte Vedra FL Family Photographer {An evening on the beach}
This family contacted me several months ago. They had seen my work and were coming down to spend a week for vacation and really wanted to have photos taken. I felt completely honored and in awe that another out of town family found me and wanted me to do their photos. It made my whole day.
Since they were only visiting for a week we knew we didn’t have many days to really work with. Of course, that entire week it rained and poured and I was so nervous that we weren’t going to be able to do the session. The day of, it rained again. After talking for a bit, we decided to just try it and see how it went. If it rained, we’d work around it. So, off I went. It rained all the way down there, but as I pulled in to their location, the rain stopped. Thank heavens! Then I stepped out of the car and started freezing. Yup, a cold front. Oh well, it was on.
We headed out to the beach. It was so windy and so chilly. I was worried that this sweet little girl wouldn’t like it, but thankfully she LOVED it. She was all smiles and silly giggles. Let me tell you, you could totally tell she is the apple of her momma and daddy’s eyes, too. We played around on the beach for a while, then headed up to the boardwalk and the lawn of their rental for a few more images.
Perfection.

Okay, so this may be one of my all time favorite sessions now. I’ve shot downtown often, but mainly stuck to the friendship fountain area and nearer to San Marco. When this mom contacted me, she said she wanted super urban: graffiti, grunge, brick, etc. I can’t tell you how psyched I was to do this session. I love trying new locations and when I do I feel totally inspired and creative. We discussed where exactly we were to meet and decided to work around the old library and Florida theater.
When I met this family at the location I was stoked. They were totally hipster feeling and I could just feel that it was going to be a great session. We walked all over downtown and when we spotted a fun wall or cool detail we totally stopped and took a few photos. It was fantastic. But, enough talk. I’ll let the images speak for themselves!

This adorable family came to me for family photos. They mentioned they wanted something rustic, but with buildings and large trees. Immediately, we all decided that Walter Jones park fit the bill pretty much perfectly. We met up on Saturday morning and the weather was so nice. It wasn’t too hot, it wasn’t too cold, it was just perfect. We ended up walking around a ton since it was pretty packed with other families but we found perfect little areas to get gorgeous images.
We played, we laughed, I sang silly songs to get cute gummy baby grins. All in all, it was just a wonderful morning with a super sweet family! I can’t wait to work with them again!

Jacksonville FL Family Photographer {The G Family}
I recently worked with the Jacksonville Mom’s Blog at their annual Pumpkin Playdate and had such a great time. The coordinator was super fun and we got along great. This family here came to me after seeing my work there and asked for a beach session. After chatting back and forth we decided on the day and time.
The day came and we met up and it was kismet. We all got along great and the kiddoes were absolutely adorable. We played on the beach and got some insanely gorgeous images for their home. I love using family sessions to get posed family portraits, but also candid playful images. The playful shots are always my favorite since they show what life is really like for these families. And this family’s life must be amazingly fun! They had smiles the entire time and I just couldn’t help but pull mom and dad away for a few couples shots as well. You can tell where these kiddoes learned to love because mom and dad were so cute together.
I cannot wait to work with this gorgeous family again in the future!

Jacksonville FL Family Photographer {An evening on the beach with the A Family}
I met this gorgeous family on the beach for a fun sunset session! It couldn’t have been better weather and the kiddoes couldn’t have been more adorable. We started out with the traditional family images and moved to more candid and lifestyle images to get those fun, playful shots.
We ended the evening with some photos on the boardwalk where the sunset put on a spectacular show. It was simply perfection.
