Orange Park, FL Photographer | B Family, an extended session

When mom, J, contacted me about her extended family session, I jumped at the opportunity. I love working with families, and when it includes grandparents, I’m all over that! There is just something about the bond between a grandparent and grandchild. And man was this a fun session. I could’ve photographed them ALL day.

We met down in Orange Park, FL, at Eagles Landing. I love shooting at Eagles Landing. Its so beautiful and filled with little nooks and crannies if you search for them.

It also helps when the family is full of stunners, and this family? STUNNING!

Jacksonville, FL Newborn Photographer : An Outdoor Spring Session

Ahhhh its that time of year again, when the nip in the air has finally gone away and its not too hot that you melt when you walk outside either. Its absolutely perfect here in Sunny North Florida! I had the opportunity to do my first full outdoor session before I went out of town for my sister in laws wedding (be on the lookout for those photos in the coming days!) Let me just say, I LOVE outdoor newborn sessions. They are by far, my favorite. I love the outdoors, and the mix of the gorgeous Jacksonville nature and the freshness of a new life just makes me absolutely giddy!

These were actually all shot in my backyard, so when you come for your newborn session and its warm enough outside, just ask and we will do a set up or two (Or all!) outdoors for some seriously spectacular images.

First up, we did a few shots with this sweet little yellow set up. I love yellow in the spring, don’t you? And Miss R looks absolutely adorable in yellow!

Then we moved over to my ferns under my magnolia tree. This is one of my favorite areas in my backyard. Its so green and vibrant! Miss R didn’t make a peep the entire time she was laying here. I think the birdsong helped lull her to sleep

Finally, we moved over to my tangerine tree. My daughters love coming out here in the spring and eating our fresh tangerines. I love getting photos of them with their sticky sweet hands enjoying fresh citrus, and just loved the idea of photographing a newborn with it. I love orange, its one of my favorite colors, so the idea of an all orange set up just made me so happy!

Jacksonville FL Newborn Photographer : Announcing Newborn MINI sessions!

So what is a Newborn Mini session?
A newborn mini session is a shortened newborn session. Usually a full newborn session consists of 3-4 hours, multiple poses, several different backdrops, a couple props, family shots, sibling shots, etc.
A newborn MINI session will consist of ONE blanket backdrop setup, ONE flokati set up, and ONE prop set up. There are no sibling or family shots with the mini. I offer these so you can get a few great images of your new addition, without breaking the bank or spending a lot of time.

What do I get?
With a newborn mini session you will receive a 1-1.5 hour session at my home studio with one blanket set up, one prop set up, and one flokati set up. After the session you will receive 5-10 gorgeous hand edited images via download, as well as a custom blog post to share with friends and family.

What can I expect?

Jacksonville FL Photographer : Flower Field Mini sessions!

Ya’ll I cannot wait to do these! I haven’t been able to make it to the flower field before, and I am beside myself with excitement! I LOVE flower field images and am so happy to be able to offer these to you guys. I have 1 more spot available. They will be held either the end of April, or the beginning of May, depending on when Mother Nature cooperates

The field itself is an hour and a half from Jacksonville, but I think you’ll agree, it’s worth the drive!

Jacksonville Child Photographer: S’ Spring Mini Session

Oh how I love spring! The temperature in north Florida is just the best. Not too hot, and definitely not too cold! Pretty much perfection. Its one of my favorite times for mini sessions, so I enjoy offering spring mini sessions to my clients. This was my first session with sweet little Miss S, but I hope its not the last!
