Jacksonville, FL Baby Photographer | {Maddox is 6 months}

I first met this sweet boy a few months ago at his family’s full session and I was so excited to see him again! He’s such a sweet little chunk of handsomeness. We met up at Hanna Park here in Jacksonville and did a quick mini milestone session. Which, honestly, was just about the perfect amount of time for sweet Maddox because after 30 minutes, he was D-O-N-E. And I totally get that. However, for those 30 minutes, he put on quite the show modeling that cute little face and giving me tons of grins and serious expressions.

Jacksonville, FL Maternity Photographer {Arin | Bump}

I met this gorgeous mom a year ago at a mini session and we became fast friends. When she messaged me several months ago that she was expecting their third child I was ecstatic. We quickly started planning her bump to baby session. The date quickly approached and we scheduled for a gorgeous evening to do maternity and family shots. I like to include family in on my maternity session, since its not just mom expecting, but the entire family.
We met up at one of my favorite little preserves here in Arlington and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful evening. It was cooler than usual and the sky was glowing almost as much as Arin was. We started with some family shots, and then moved in to more couple maternity and individual. Arin also donned my gorgeous maternity gown for a few ethereal images in the forest. She was such a trooper!

Jacksonville, FL Military Photographer | {A special homecoming}

I absolutely love when everything aligns just right, and I’m able to schedule a homecoming. This one was a first for me. I’ve shot countless ship homecomings, but have never shot a plane coming home. I was so excited when my client told me that it was a plane.

There just are usually no words to describe a homecoming unless you’ve been there. The emotions are all so high, and everyone is simultaneously excited, nervous, and happy. More like elated. This one was no different. Mom and her sweet babies were on cloud nine waiting on their hero to come home from a 7 and a 1/2 month deployment. He was bringing with him the amazing planes that would be retired on their arrival home. So many families lined the runway just waiting. It was just amazing.

Jacksonville, FL Maternity Photographer {Sherina | Bump}

You know those sessions you walk away from and just drive home in a fog because it was that amazing? Yeah, this was that kind of session. The entire time it felt like a dream. This gorgeous family was flawless. The kiddoes were adorable and mom and dad were just so amazingly in love that you could feel it in the air. It was one of my favorite sessions to date. I was so excited when they showed up and I saw their adorable coordinated outfits. I knew at that moment, magic was going to happen! And it did! We were able to not only get some maternity photos, but also included tons with the family, and also the kiddoes by themselves. A completely well rounded session, indeed!

We shot at one of my favorite locations on the St. Johns River in Arlington. The weather was just phenomenal that evening, though a bit hot. However, the sky decided to put on a show, and we captured some of my favorite silhouette bump images. Divine! Sherina looked like a goddess in her gorgeous dresses. I just can’t even say how in love with these images I am. I hope you enjoy them as well.

Jacksonville, FL Newborn Photographer {Rosemary | 6 Days New}

I always love photographing newborns, its my favorite type of session. This little one came into my studio and I just fell in love. She was just the most adorable, sweetest, little baby girl. She never woke, she never cried, she was just perfection. Mom and dad, you can tell, are just head over heels in love. And who wouldn’t be? I mean, look at that sweet little face. And those cheeks. So squishy! She may have cranked the baby fever up a notch. Who am I kidding? She DEFINITELY cranked the baby fever up.

This sweet girl was one of my youngest newborns of 2015. At just 6 days new, she was still super sleepy, moldable, and a perfect little squish. We got so many poses and set ups, I’m just not even sure where to begin. We started with family shots, and even got a couple with grandma, who was in town visiting. Then we did a couple shots with dad’s military helmet, mom’s sheet music, and some of Rosemary’s hot air balloons that her mama hand made for her nursery. I absolutely LOVE when clients bring things with them to their sessions. It just makes a session that much more unique and tailored to that individual family.
